Too Many Simpsons Episodes

Firstly I'd like to apologise for not posting in a while, I've been so bogged down with homework recently I've had time to just sit down and relax, even know I'm writing when I'm meant to be in bed. This seems like the only time I have to myself at the moment!

Something that really annoys me recently is the simpsons, the new episodes are utterly far-fetched and not at all funny, and the old ones I've seen so many times the jokes just aren't funny. The old episodes, up to about season 7 or 8 were realatable, but the episodes that are being produced at the moment just aren't up to the quality that its rivals are producing.

Nothing exciting has happened to be honest, no news really.

Just a short post to show you guys that I'm not ignoring you :)

Gabriel Iglesias

First off I'd like to get this off my chest. I do not blog because I have an amazing life style or because I go out on adventures every day like some lucky people possibly do. I blog because I want to be an author when I grow up and this seemed like a good way to start, especially if I write an autobiography, this blog would be an awesome thing to look back on! It'll increase my vocabulary, help my grammar & mostly improve my storytelling. Thank you.

Okay, for the past hour I have been watching this guy called Gabriel Iglesias and he is so funny! He just tells stories about random things that have happened to him but he also does accents and voices which can sometimes make the story twice as funny. I really recommend him, please go check him out!

Another thing that happened recently was my first detention of the year, not exactly awful considering I've been back at school for 3 weeks, but not exactly brilliant either. It was for excessive talking in, it was either RE or Geography, we have the same teacher for both so I get confused. But the thing is, the teacher never turned up for the detention so I waited there for about 4 minutes and still no sign of this teacher so I just decide to go put my stuff in the class because I have this teacher next lesson. So 5 minutes later I go into the class for my lesson and this teacher is waiting there with a list of names that were meant to turn up for detention... I'm on that list and she calls my name out, so I go up to the teacher and explain what happened and she was fine about it but she kinda called me a liar slightly, which pee'd me off a bit. So I had to do this detention today but I only did 5 minutes instead of 10 because I arrived late but she was fine about that too and then I got to go early as well, life sometimes is good in bad ways.

To be honest nothing exciting really happened today apart from me getting dumped by a girl that I kinda liked. I mean not to point that I'd see her every night and walk her home but I genuinely enjoyed spending time with her and I was only sad for 5 minutes after because my mates were kinda saying "girls come and go, but you'll always have good mates that won't ditch you cos other friends told you to stay away". Which I kinda agreed with, she basically dumped me because he mates had told her that I was flirting with other girls, which I do because I'm friendly and my dad is a flirt too. But I suppose she was no good for me anyway if she can't face it that I'm friendly with everyone, not just people who I go out with. Even people that are nasty and aggressive towards me I always say "hi" to them in the street.

I feel like I'm ranting now, so bye!

Haven't Posted In Ages!

Yeah, well I haven't posted in a while so I thought I'd keep you updated. My life has been quite boring but also quite fast-paced and exciting (in personal ways). Firstly, I moved to my dads house miles away from where I used to live, meaning I had to move schools. To be honest, it's better here and I prefer it but I still miss friends from my old school. But at my new school I've been there about 2-4 months, and in that short space of time we've been on two trips, one to Alton Towers (I'll talk about that later) and to Chester Zoo! Chester Zoo was cool but kind of boring too because our teacher wanted us to look at every little detail on an animal instead of looking for a bit and then seeing the other animals, that way we would of seen everything instead of rushing right at the end to see everything!

Alton Towers was amazing! Our first ride was Air, I was really scared to go on it but in the end I just went on it and told myself it was safe and all that. I loved every second of it and we even went on it again a few hours later. The lines for rides were bad but weren't as bad as I expected, I guess we pulled the short straw or something though because we ended up with someone who I don't really like anyway in our group and he chickened out of every ride, much like myself.... Well, I went on Air and some others but refused to go on Oblivion and rides like that. Then in the summer holidays I went again with family and went on every big ride apart from Oblivion and I loved them all apart from Thirteen, which I hated not because of its scariness, I hated it because it was boring. Nemesis was just a pure thrill-ride! Rita was amazingly fast! I think I've mentioned the other 2 that I went on (in the top 5 rides), personally I think Sonic Spinball should replace Thirteen in the top 5 rides.

2 weeks ago I started in year 8 which up to now has been a bit of a struggle, instead of gradually introducing us to more homework each night, homework is being fired from every possible direction! But apart from that I've enjoyed my first 2 weeks of year 8 more than I thought I would, school is enjoyable most of the time and I've realised that all teachers aren't bad, which was news to me.

I feel like I'm rambling here so I'm going to go! Thanks for reading, good bye!
